Product FAQ

In terms of materials, all our PVC products are non-toxic, odourless, and free of ammonia, latex, phthalates, and other chemicals of concern. In particular, the chemicals DMF (dimethyl fumerate) and Formamide are not present in our products. Our products are tested at source by SGS to REACH EU guidelines and in the UK by SATRA, the materials testing agency. All our PVC tiles meet the Reaction to Fire Classification BFL-S1.All our PVC tiles meet the Slip Resistance Classification BS EN 7188.
All our PVC floor tiles are made from a high-quality, high-density PVC, with added Polyethylene (PE) to provide flexibility. Our black tiles are made from 100% recycled materials, whereas our coloured tiles are made from a virgin PVC, with added colourant.
Most PVC tiles can experience 'warping' if exposed to direct sunlight for long periods. You may want to consider our rigid polypropylene (PP) tiles VentLock if installing in areas affected by direct sunlight.
All 50cm PVC tiles in the 'DURA' range are made from the same mould, so all colours and finishes are compatible. Tiles from the VentLock and GymGuard ranges are unique and can't be mixed with any other products.
Tiles are produced in batches under strict quality controls. However, there can be occasions where colours run lighter towards the end of batches. Whilst every effort is made to avoid shade variation in orders, this is not always possible. If you have a problem with different shades of tiles in your order, please contact our sales team who will be more than happy to help.

All PVC tiles should be first swept with a soft pile brush, then can be cleaned using a mild detergent with mop and bucket or power washer.

We keep high stock levels of our most popular tiles and although demand is often high, all tiles are available and in-stock unless marked otherwise. For more information, including large orders, custom colours and logo printing please enquire.

Fitting FAQ

Yes, all of our PCV floor tiles and ramps are self-install DIY. The interlocking edges fit together to create a strong bond. We recommend gloves and a nylon hammer to help you.

To help you, we've created this useful fitting guide.
Whilst a flat, smooth concrete surface is ideal, we understand it might not always be possible. Our PVC floor tiles are designed to cope with small amounts of dust and gravel and even small variations in floor level. Please note however that too much variation can create pressure under the tiles and may cause them to bow upwards in some environments.
The PVC tiles are made of strong stuff but they can be cut to fit. We recommend and strong utility knife, a good straight edge and of course, gloves.
Our PVC tiles feature strong interlocking edges that keep them firmly in place, without the need for adhesives. In extremely warm conditions, or if placed in direct sunlight, the tiles can sometimes expand or rise. If you experience any movement, please contact our support team who will be able to advise.
